We stock up on colorful paper and rubbing paper. Ogrigami is a complex technique and making an origami Eternal Flame with your own hands is not an easy task. But how nice it is to give such a masterpiece for the holiday of May 9!

You can try the method below to make an Eternal Flame.

Or you can make such an origami Eternal Flame craft according to the diagram.

    Take 105 yellow triangular modules,

    60 orange triangular modules.

    35 red triangular modules.

The modules must be the size of 1/32 of a landscape sheet; the color of the star can be one color.

Two rows of orange modules. There are only 30 modules in one row, the chain of modules closes into a ring.

Let's start assembling the first ray of the star.

There are 6 yellow modules in the first row.

There are 5 yellow modules in the second row.

In the third row there are 4 yellow ones and in each subsequent circle there is 1 less module. At the end there should be one module left.

Collect 4 more rays for a full star.

    Fire assembly.

Only three rows. Each row has 9 red modules.

The assembled three rows must be turned out so that the star faces us with the short sides of the modules.

Tie or glue the modules so that they do not fall apart. After complete drying, add eight modules in places so that they look like tongues of flame.

    Origami Eternal Flame assembled.

Using the modular origami technique, you can make any crafts with your own hands. In this technique finished product assembled from separate paper blanks - modules, which are placed one on top of the other.

To assemble an eternal flame craft from modules, you must first prepare the modules and find an assembly diagram, then start assembling.

To make an eternal flame you need to show the star, as well as the fire.

Let's make an eternal flame craft from origami modules:

For this craft you need white, yellow and blue 25, 25 and 75 pieces, respectively.

    First, let's make the modules:

Let's look at the assembly technique step by step:

Add each color one at a time:

Then you need to fasten the outer modules together to form a ring:

We continue the assembly, making rays.

1st row - blue module plus three red plus blue module (together five modules), 2nd row - one blue, two red, one blue (together 4), 3rd row - blue, red, blue (total 3 pieces of modules), 4th row - a pair of blue modules, 5th row - take a blue module, attach a blue module to it. We attach red modules between the beams.

The fire can be made by fastening red modules together or taking gov paper and cutting a flame out of it.

    Wonderful creativity!

But I propose to you to make such an eternal flame with tongues of flame.

Swami will need materials for work: 9 sheets of orange paper, 6 sheets of beige paper, 4 sheets of red paper and 5 sheets of yellow paper.

The tools we need are: stationery knife or scissors (at your discretion).

In total we will need 90 beige modules, 130 orange modules, 55 red modules and 70 yellow modules.

We assemble the first and second rows of our five-pointed star with 10 beige modules each. It should look like this

Let's proceed to the third row, here we need to add a total of 10 modules, for a total of 20 beige modules. On each corner of the module of the previous row we put the module of our third row in one pocket.

Our star has five rays in total. We assemble each beam separately, like this: the fourth row is only 4 modules, the fifth row is 3 modules, the sixth row is 2 modules and the seventh row is only 1 module. We make the entire beam with beige modules. It should turn out like this

We collect the remaining rays in the same way. Each process is not shown separately. But in general it should look like this:

Now we will cover each ray along the edge with orange modules. We will need 9 modules for each beam. Attention, we put on the orange modules upside down. Like this

We make another row of orange modules. We use 10 orange modules for each beam.

For the first row of fire we will need 20 red modules. Modules must be inserted with the pockets facing up.

The second row is again 20 red modules.

We cover each tongue of our flame with 7 orange modules.

All five of our flames will different lengths, so we will need a different number of yellow modules, and we will assemble them in different ways. For the first tongue we will need 35 yellow modules.

We make the next second tongue of flame from 8 yellow modules

The third tongue of our flame we are already making 13 yellow modules

We will have the fourth tongue of flame from 9 yellow modules

The fifth flame of 5 yellow modules.

    Our Eternal Flame is ready

The modules themselves resemble flames, so making an eternal flame out of them will be quite easy - here it is important to choose colors with transitions so that the craft does not look blind, and also to follow strictly detailed instructions, which can be found on this site. Or here it is.

    I suggest you look

video on how to very easily make an eternal flame. It can be easily done by a preschooler with a little help from parents or junior schoolboy. After all, such tasks for Victory Day or Defender of the Fatherland Day are often given to children.

    And one more video

For this we need paper of different colors.

The origami technique is crafts made using paper without using scissors.

The paper folding pattern for the Eternal Flame craft is shown below.

For the base we take green paper. The fire will be multi-colored - yellow and red

The eternal flame can be made from origami modules in many variations and shapes. Before you begin, you need to consider your options finished works, already made by many authors with the results kindly posted in the form of photographs on the network.

All crafts consist of the following modules:

We add the resulting modules like this, in a circle:

By adding rows we get a big star:

The end result is something like this:

In addition, the finished product may look like this:

You can see and read more about how to make such an Eternal Flame in your hand, a torch, in my question on BV here.

This is an original craft made entirely from orange paper. It looks very good, in my opinion.

Another idea is to make a star out of blue paper.

But this modular origami was created by a very patient and diligent author.

And there is a very beautiful combination of colors and shades here.

Or you can make a somewhat simplified product, stylized in shape, for example like this:

If you were still at school and on vacation in the summer, you made crafts, for example, from candy wrappers (the so-called snakes), then it won’t be too difficult for you to figure out this task of making the Eternal Flame by May 9 or February 23. Remember that there are more difficult tasks. For example, you can again make a whole portrait of a Red Army soldier from origami modules.

If you want to practice first and simply draw the Eternal Flame with a simple pencil, then the following video will help you with this:

And at the end of my answer, I would like to draw your attention in more detail to how to properly make modules for origami from paper.

This is what a triangular module looks like and turns out to be:

The module can also be folded from ordinary paper:

As a result, you should get this, in different colors and in large quantities, for ease of work:

If it’s not clear, then look again carefully:

And finally, if you want to decorate ready-made gift letters and numbers, as well as a drawing, then the following video will help you with this with the simplest example of a drawing, accessible in its complexity even to an inexperienced, novice artist.

Read more about all the ideas for cooking and preparing for the holiday in my question on BV here.

I offer a simpler option using the origami technique.

We bend the resulting triangle in half, it should look like this:

Now we insert the resulting parts into each other.

From toothpicks and corrugated paper we make flowers. If necessary, coat with glue.

We collect everything and the Eternal Flame is ready!

Eternal memory of all the soldiers who fell victim to the Great Patriotic War symbolizes Eternal Flame.

For origami eternal flame you need yellow (105 pcs), orange (60 pcs) and red (35 pcs) triangular modules. The size of the modules is 1/32 of an A4 sheet, but larger ones can be made.

The first 2 rows are made of orange modules (30 modules in each row), assembled in a chain, connecting into a ring.

Then the first ray of the star is assembled, for which the 1st row is made of 6 yellow modules,

2nd row - of 5, with each row reducing the number by 1 module until only one remains.

The remaining 4 beams are assembled in the same way.

Now you can start assembling the fire. 3 rows are made of red modules (9 pieces per row), then these 3 rows are turned inside out so that the short sides of the modules are turned towards you.

To secure the structure, the modules can be glued together. After the glue has dried, you need to add 8 more modules selectively in a circle, forming flames.

Otherwise there will be no problems.

DIY "Eternal Flame" from paper: how to make an applique

This is the simplest way to work. It’s so easy to complete a postcard or The sequence of work is as follows:

The craft is ready.

DIY "Eternal Flame" made from paper: master class (volume version)

This method is used to create a small sculpture-model of a monument. Work like this:

  1. Build on back side sheet prepared for the base of the burner, templates of several blanks in the form of five-pointed stars of different sizes. This is done by dividing the circle using a compass.
  2. Cut out the templates you made.
  3. Glue them onto the base (stand) in layers from largest to smallest. Three elements will be enough.
  4. Cut out flat flame blanks from plain or crepe paper.
  5. Glue paper tongues to the center of the top star. Crepe paper can be slightly stretched, thus giving the workpieces a more realistic look.
  6. If desired, decorate the product with additional paper flowers, St. George's ribbon and dates.

The job is done.

How to create a 3D star

Another way is to easily make an even more spectacular and realistic “eternal flame” from paper with your own hands. Templates for the star can be downloaded ready-made or built yourself.

Method one:

  1. Draw a triangle on thick cardboard measuring 16x12x7.5 cm or another one that suits you more. Cut out the workpiece.
  2. Using the prepared template, circle 10 identical parts with allowances of 0.5 - 1 cm.
  3. Cut out all the elements.
  4. Begin to connect the pieces in pairs in the form of rays, gluing the seams inward.
  5. When five parts are ready, connect them together.
  6. Trace the resulting star at the base along the contour, allowing for allowances, cut it out and glue it as a bottom to the volumetric part.

Method two:

Quilling

This technique allows you to make original craft DIY "eternal flame" made from paper. For children, this method is not only very exciting, but also useful, since paper rolling perfectly develops fine motor skills. In this way, you can make both a flat wall decoration or decorative elements for a postcard, as well as a three-dimensional composition. The work proceeds in the following sequence:

  1. Prepare strips of decorative paper no more than 5 mm wide for the flame details in yellow, orange, red and silver, gray or gold for the star.
  2. Wind the strips onto a toothpick or a special one and then form a suitable configuration by removing the part from the stick and slightly unwinding and bending, if necessary. For fire, teardrop-shaped blanks are better suited, and the star can also be laid out in dense, untwisted circles. Don't forget to secure the elements with glue.
  3. Assemble a composition from the created blanks by gluing the elements together. You can do this using a pre-drawn outline template in the shape of a star and flames.

Origami

This technique also allows you to make a beautiful “eternal flame” out of paper with your own hands. The photo above clearly demonstrates this. Modular origami is used here. To do this, you will need to first make many modules of different colors, and then form them into a star and fire design, starting from the center of the bottom layer to the edges of the star and up, creating the flame shape. Execution options may vary.

So, you have seen how to make an “eternal flame” out of paper with your own hands. You can perform any of the presented options both at home and in an organized group. Choose an idea that suits the age capabilities of the children. Create memorial cards, sculptures, panels as themed office decorations, as well as gifts for veterans.

Useful tips

For Victory Day, I would like to give our veterans and grandparents a gift with my own hands.

There are many crafts for this day, but perhaps the most popular is the eternal flame.

This symbol can be made from paper and cardboard.

Here are several options on how you can make an eternal flame with your own hands:

Do-it-yourself eternal flame. Option 1.

Having made such a beautiful craft, you can use it to decorate any room for Victory Day.

You will need:

2 sheets of colored cardboard

Ruler and pencil

Red napkin

1. Draw a large star on colored cardstock and draw guide lines (see image).

2. Cut out the star and bend it where the fold lines are indicated.

3. Make a small hole in the center of the star.

4. Glue the star to a piece of colored cardboard.

5. Insert a neatly folded red napkin into the hole of the star, which will play the role of fire.

Do-it-yourself eternal flame made of paper: eternal flame made of paper. Option 2.

You will need:

Carton

Colored paper or colored cardboard (red, orange, gray, yellow)

PVA glue or double-sided tape

Blue wire

Paper molds for muffins (cupcakes)

Red

Brush

Full length photograph of a soldier.

1. Prepare the base. Take a small cardboard box and glue it onto the cardboard (preferably gray) to create a pedestal.

2. The pedestal can be covered with red paper or just use a red box initially.

3. Glue a strip of cardboard at the bottom so that its edges form a stand for the soldier. You can make two stands.

4. Making a star.

Take a gray piece of paper and draw or print out some stars in different sizes. Cut out these stars and glue them to the base and on top of each other, starting with the largest star and ending with the smallest.

5. To make the fire, draw a flame and cut it out. If you want, you can make a more realistic fire by using three layers of paper or cardboard: red, orange and yellow.

Just glue the layers together.

6. Now the fire can be glued to the stand, which can be made by just slightly bending the lower part with your hands.

7. Cut out the images of the soldiers at the post and, using double-sided tape, glue them to a strip of cardboard that is slightly longer than the picture itself. This strip then needs to be bent like a triangle and glued to the base (see image).

8. Now you can make the carnations. Take paper muffin baskets, make small holes in them and insert blueprint wire or cardboard strips into them. Paint the flowers with red paint.
