Description of knitting boots with plaits for girls from Drops

To knit light and warm boots you will need the following materials: 2 skeins of Rico Essentials Alpaca yarn – 50 g125 m (composed of 50% alpaca, 50% wool) – one gray, the other beige. Children's boots are made using 4 mm knitting needles; you also need a 3.75 hook, a needle and 4 buttons in the same tone.
Knitting density: 22p. x 28 rub. = 10x10 cm, stockinette stitch and 20 stitches. x 25 rub. = 10x10cm crochet.
Boot size: 03 (3-9 months)
Foot length: 8-10 cm.
We knit the sole:
Using a thread of the main color and knitting needles 4.0, we cast on 30 (36.42) loops, leaving a thread of 50 cm.
1st row: simply knit with facial loops.
2nd row: knit 2 purls, add 1 stitch from the broach, then knit 12 (15, 18) purls, add a loop again, purl 2. we knit, 1 loop from the broach, we knit 12 (15, 18) purls again and add 1, the row ends with two purls. Total 34 (40, 46) loops.

Sole:
Row 11: knit 2 purls, 38 (44, 50) knits, 2 purls.
Row 12: purl all over.
Repeat rows 11 and 12 1 (2, 2) more times, adding 1 loop in the center of the last row. Total 43 (49, 55) loops.
Top of foot:
