Pullover with dropped loops. The summer pullover is knitted in an openwork pattern from sleeve to sleeve. The hemstitch effect is obtained due to the dropped loops. The style of the pullover is given by the wonderful color transitions that the ribbon yarn shows us. This pullover will look great in any color scheme.

You will need:
- 300 (400) g of section-dyed yarn Ibiza (70% 40 cotton, 30% polyamide, 96 m/50 g);
- knitting needles and hook number 5.
Drop stitch pattern: the number of loops is a multiple of 7 + 5 + 2 chrome. Knit according to the pattern, which shows only persons. r., in purl. r. Knit all loops and yarn overs. Start with 1 chrome. and loops before rapport, repeat repeat, end with loops after repeat and 1 chrome. Knit 1 time from the 1st to the 10th row, then repeat from the 3rd to the 10th row.
Knitting density (after unraveling the dropped loops): 12.5 p. and 20 rub. = 10 x 10 cm.
Attention! Knit the front and back crosswise, starting from the left sleeve. Arrow on pattern = knitting direction.After the 1st day the number of loops increases. In all the following calculations we proceeded from the dialed number of loops.
Pullover with dropped loops description:
Back: for the left sleeve, cast on 21 (28) sts and knit in a pattern with dropped sts. At the same time, from the cast-on edge, add to bevel the sleeves on the right side in every 8th row. 7 x 1 st. = 28 (35) sts, including added sts to the pattern. After 32 cm = 64 r. from the cast-on edge, additionally dial on 42 sts for the back on the right side and include them in the pattern = 70 (77) sts. After 55.5 cm = 111 r. (59.5 cm = 119 rubles) from the cast-on edge the middle of the back has been reached. After 79 cm = 158 rub. (87 cm = 174 rubles) close 42 stitches from the cast-on edge on the right side, undo the lowered stitches and finish the right sleeve symmetrically, i.e. the additions will become decreases and before the decreases, also dissolve the lowered stitches. READ THIS ENTIRE SECTION BEFORE YOU START KNITTING!
Cast on 63-69-75-83-91-99 sts on 6mm needles. 1 thread of rusty + 1 thread of crimson color. Knit in garter stitch - see description above - 2-2-3-3-4-4 cm. Next, knit the pattern according to diagram A.1, knitting the edge loops in garter stitch (1st row = RS), AT THE SAME TIME knit pattern in stripes, alternating colors - see description above. REMEMBER YOUR KNITTING DENSITY!
NOTE: Knit diagram A.1 twice vertically until all stripes A.1 are knitted. After A.1, switch to 1 thread of medium pink + 1 thread of beige color. Knit in stockinette stitch (edge stitches in garter stitch) until the height of the product is ~ 34-35-36-37-38-39 cm. Next, knit according to diagram A.2 AT THE SAME TIME, continue knitting in stripes - see the description above. When stripes A.2 are completed, continue knitting with the last colors (1 thread of beige + 1 thread of yellow) until the end. AT THE SAME TIME, when the length of the product is ~ 39-40-41-42-43-44 cm, mark the depth of the sleeve with marks on both sides. When the height of the piece is ~48-50-52-52-54-56 cm, bind off the central 21-21-23-23-25-25 sts for the neckline and finish each shoulder separately. Then, at the beginning of each row, from the neck side, close off 2 stitches once and 1 stitch once = 18-21-23-27-30-34 stitches on the shoulder. Continue knitting until 53-55-57-59-61-63 cm, knit 1 rib and loosely bind off the stitches. Part height ~ 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. Repeat the same with the second shoulder.
Knit as before, similarly marking the depth of the sleeves. At a height of 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm, bind off the central 25-25-27-27-29-29 sts for the neckline and finish each shoulder separately. In the next row, bind off 1 more stitch for the neckline = 18-21-23-27-30-34 stitches on the shoulder. When the height of the piece is 53-55-57-59-61-63 cm, knit 1 rib in garter stitch and loosely bind off all the stitches. Knit the other shoulder in the same way.
Sew shoulder seams.
Cast on RS 45-47-51-53-57-59 sts between the two marks on one side of the jumper on size 6 mm needles. 1 yellow thread + 1 beige thread. NOTE: if you have cast on more/fewer stitches, decrease/increase evenly to the required number in the 1st row.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTINUING!
Knit the pattern according to diagram A.2, knitting the edge loops in garter stitch, AT THE SAME TIME make stripes, alternating colors. You need to work the reverse pattern from top to bottom according to diagram A.2 (1st row = IS) so that the sleeve starts with yellow and ends with rusty red. Having knitted A.2 1 time vertically, switch to 1 cherry thread + 1 medium pink thread and continue knitting according to diagram A.1 with stripes also back from top to bottom.
AT THIS TIME, when the length of the sleeve is 2-2-3-3-4-4 cm from the marks, decrease 1 point on both sides. Repeat decrease every 9-7-5½-4½-3½-3 cm another 4-5-6-7-8-9 times (= 5-6-7-8-9-10 decreases in total) = 35-35 -37-37-39-39 p. Continue knitting the sleeve until 47-46-45-44-42-40 cm from the marks. Knit the second sleeve in the same way.
Sew the axillary and side seams together.
Cast on from 70 to 85 sts along the neckline on 5 mm circular needles. 1 yellow thread + 1 beige thread. Knit 1 row with purl stitches and 1 row with knit stitches, then loosely bind off all the loops, purling them.

Left front: cast on 18 (24) sts and knit between edges. pattern with stars according to scheme 2, while for size 40/42 loops repeat from arrow A to arrow B 2 times. To round off, re-type from the left edge, as shown in the diagram, at the end of the 3rd row. 1 x 6 p., then in every 2nd r. 2x6. 3x3 and 6x1 p. = 51 (57) p. I will do the armhole from the right edge as for the back = 42 (48) p. After 36.5 cm = 58 r. GETTING THE WORK DONE
BACK
Using light green thread on knitting needles No. 4.5, perform a double cross cast on 72 (78 – 84) 90 sts and knit 10 rows with an elastic band.

After 20 (21.5 – 23) 24.5 cm = 40 (44 – 46) 50 rub. From the beginning of the armhole, leave all the loops temporarily.
For the neckline, lower the middle 2 sts to 70 r. and then commit. Lower 1 stitch to the right and left of the dropped loops to the depth of the 68th river. and fix it in the same way, then lower another 1 stitch on both sides until the 66th row. and fix it in the same way, then lower the loops on both sides 1 more time to the 64th r., for sizes 44/46 and 48/50 on both sides lower the loops 1 more time to the 62nd r. and fix it.

Then switch to needles No. 5.5 and knit in stockinette stitch.
For bevels of sleeves in the 11th r. from the bar on both sides add 1 x 1 p. and then add on both sides in every 10 (6 - 6) 4th p. 5 (8 – 9) 12 x 1 p. = 48 (54 – 60) 66 p.
For a sleeve roll after 36 (35 – 34) 33 cm = 72 (70 – 68) 66 r. from the bar on both sides close 1 x 4 (5 - 6) 7 p. and in every 2nd p. underlined decrease 14 (15 – 16) 17 x 1 p. = 12 (14 – 16) 18 p. In the next 2nd p. close all loops.
ASSEMBLY
Secure the neckline at the front with a cross stitch. Sew shoulder, sleeve and side seams. Sew in the sleeves.
