On the eve of the new year, everywhere you can find various souvenirs in the form of "Cockerel" as well as next year, the year - the Fire Rooster. The rooster is the head of the family, he gets up early, keeps order and keeps everything under control. This bird loves to be in the center of attention and demands respect for his person, this is evidenced by his demeanor, plumage coloring, chic tail, proud gait, spurs on his legs.

What could be better than earning respect and gaining the trust of the Fire Rooster by making the symbol of 2017 with your own hands.

The master class for making our collective work is extremely simple. We will try to make "Cockerel" bright and mischievous.

Target: the formation of creative skills and abilities in the field of artistic culture.

Zada chi:

1. Consolidate the knowledge of children about poultry - a rooster.

2. Cause positive emotions and desires to make a cockerel.

3. Develop imagination, accuracy in making crafts.

I suggest that the guys take colored paper, put their palm on it and circle it with a simple pencil:

Then we take scissors and carefully cut out our painted palms:

When we have prepared a sufficient number of palms, we proceed to compose the composition "Cockerel", glue them according to the pattern on paper.

And now our work is ready. The guys from the "Kapelki" group were satisfied with their work and with great pleasure decorated the locker room for the upcoming New Year's holiday!

Cockerels made of paper and on paper

Making cards with the kids

If you are not a professional card maker, then before you start creating postcards, be sure to read our article "Learning to make New Year's cards with your own hands using the Scrapbooking technique". In it you will find not only a lot of ideas, but also get acquainted with the basic rules for creating postcards.

Any cockerel drawn by your child can be placed on a postcard. If it’s difficult for the kid to figure out how to draw a rooster with his own hands, then show him this step-by-step instruction:

And then, a matter of technology. Cut out the cockerel and make it the central part of the composition. For example, your postcard can be so simple, but cute. At work, use christmas paper and a bright red ribbon, add snowflakes, twigs and other holiday paraphernalia. When you have a basic idea, the process of creating a postcard becomes much easier!

Photo from http://itsapatchworklife.blogspot.ru

If your child likes to color in black and white pictures, give him the opportunity. Print out the rooster postcard template on thick cardboard and let the kid get to work. Further, cutting out the blank-ball, you can add a postcard voluminous snowflakes, glue half-beads imitating christmas balls etc. etc. Unleash your imagination with your baby))

YOU WILL USE

8 more templates for coloring, plus 2 step by step instructions for drawing more realistic roosters you will find in the archive, which you can download quickly and for free!

Take note of the idea with a cockerel on a stick, as on a postcard by Elena Yurchenko. Her cockerels are cut out of felt, but you can cut them out of paper.

Colored paper roosters

Colored paper appliqué can also be placed on greeting card. But such an application itself can act as a postcard. To draw and carefully cut out all the details, the children will need the help of their parents, but they can stick it themselves.

Olga-15 offers to make funny paper cockerels in her master class.

A Rooster blank is a rectangular sheet of flexible paper or thin cardboard folded in half lengthwise. Its size is 13.5 × 10 cm. We make 7-10 inclined cuts along the fold line (after about 1 cm). The angle of their inclination is 50-70 degrees, and the depth is ¾ of the height of the folded sheet.

Ekaterina Ivanova in her video tutorial shows how to make a red rooster using the Origami technique:

Roosters in quilling technique

A very interesting idea is to lay out only a luxurious rooster tail from quilling paper. It's not as confusing as laying out a whole cockerel, and it can turn out very effectively! Here is a rooster without a tail as a basis (how it looked in the original, see the photo below).

Print it on a color printer, and fantasize over the tail later. As an example - one such work (although the tail is modest here, but you will try, right?))

And if you are not afraid to make a whole rooster using the Quilling technique, then you can take this finished postcard as a basis:

Or this template:

A cheat sheet on the main elements of Quilling to help you:

Button appliqué

And here are absolutely stunning handsome roosters, lined with multi-colored buttons, half-beads, rhinestones and beads! As a basis, you can take the contours of cockerels from our archive (link just above).

Crochet Cockerels

Many needlewomen with a hook on "you" and will gladly knit a cockerel from multi-colored threads. And "Cross" will help you decide on the model and offer several master classes on this type of needlework.

You can also buy cockerels knitted from Svetlana.

Roosters from felt

The fastest and most uncomplicated options for creating a symbol of 2017 are felt roosters. The material is easy to process, keeps the shape of the toy well, does not require seams. Vice versa, hand seams on the face of the product give it a special flavor and charm.

Roosters in Tilda style

Well, how can we do now in our life without the tilde-Rooster? The ToySew website has a master class on sewing this popular toy.

Master Vetic on her blog posted patterns of the Rooster and Hen Goroshkins based on the tilde pattern. An interesting couple will turn out if you make an effort and patience!

And for inspiration:

Cockerel Yurik from Orange Toys

A funny video clip about her tilde roosters was shot by Maria Fedorova (the link to the patterns is in the description of the video!):

Cockerel coffee toys

Aromatic or coffee toys compete with tildes in popularity. There are roosters in this technique.

The coffee cockerel can be like this:

Photo from the site http://zabavochka.com

You can easily sew it yourself using one of the patterns above. “Cross” talked about all the intricacies of creating coffee toys in this master class.

If you think that you can’t cope with such work yourself, contact the master. Julia Charikova has made enough branded coffee scented toys and put them up for sale at this address.

Fur interior toys

Oksana Svyatkovskaya will show her vision of a rooster and show how to sew it correctly according to ready-made patterns. Her Rooster is sewn from faux fur, but who's to say that it doesn't happen or it's not good?)

In the workshop Everything for creativity (dljatvorchestva) there are a lot of blanks for painting and decoupage. Choose and create!

This is the beauty you can get:

If you do not want to make a souvenir in the form of a rooster, then you can decorate any wooden surface with the image of a rooster. There is just limitless scope for creativity! Here are just a few examples for inspiration:

Felted wool roosters

Other craftswomen make wool toys just like real ones! We love and are inspired! And if you really want to buy one of these beauties, then look for them at the Masters Fair (there is a link on each photo).

Elenia collected many different felted Roosters in one place and offered MK to create one of them. Turns out very cute!

Roosters embroidered with a cross, beads and ribbons

Perhaps you love embroidery more than other types of needlework. Then you can place the symbol of the year on a pillowcase, arrange it in the form of a panel, a picture in a frame or a brooch. The main thing is that the image of the Rooster warms your soul. And if you donate your work, find out the preferences of the recipient.

You will find more than 50 different patterns for embroidering roosters and cockerels in a special album

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2017 is the Year of the Fire Rooster.Chinese New Year does not have a fixed date, the day depends on the phase of the moon. In 2017, New Year falls on January 28th. New Year's celebration In China it is called Pinyin, translated as "Spring Festival".

Teacher:
IN ancient times the rooster symbolized the sun. With his singing, he proclaims to the whole world about the victory over the forces of evil, primarily clouds. Rooster at Slavic people was always the embodiment of Fire. Even the god of fire was depicted most often in the form of a red fiery rooster. Either because this bird greets the dawn with its singing, or maybe because the oldest breeds of chickens, roosters, wear red plumage.
The rooster not only announces the beginning of the day, but is also the conductor of the sun. In mythology, it is believed that, like the sun, the Rooster "counts" the time ("first roosters", "third roosters", to "roosters", etc.)

1 presenter
The word "rooster" in Russian comes from the verb "sing", since ancient times the rooster was revered as a solar bird, "herald of the Sun." One of the most important functions of the rooster is sentinel. His singing signifies the beginning of a new hour. It all started with the watch.
Indeed, in ancient times, not every person could afford a watch, but then roosters were just as cheap. Even the ancient Greeks believed that the crowing of a rooster begins the first hour of the day.
Russian peasants thought that the gates of heaven were closed at night. And after that, evil spirits get the opportunity to harm a person. This has always been the case in Europe.
It is not for nothing that evil spirits always come at night. And they leave with the first Morning crowing of a rooster. The rooster has a particularly sensitive ear. He is the first to know about the heavenly matins and notifies the whole world about it.
Probably, even primitive people saw in the rooster, loudly proclaiming the onset of a new day, the mysterious messenger of supernatural forces, the deity of the Sun.
It is known that wild roosters were domesticated as cult animals in ancient India (III...II millennium BC). It was strictly forbidden to eat the meat of roosters, but at the same time it was allowed to hunt wild chickens and eat them. Only much later in ancient Europe, meat of domestic chicken, and then eggs began to be eaten.

The image of the Guardian Rooster was often tried to be placed on the roofs of houses, poles, weather vanes, spiers, as well as on caskets and chests.

The Chinese depict the image of the red Rooster on the walls of the house as a talisman against fire.

In Rus', the rooster was associated with fires. "Let the red rooster in" - this is how they talked about a flaring fire, arson because of its fiery plumage and hot temper. About a person whose house was damaged by fire they said:
"He has a fried rooster settled." Therefore, probably, the expression about the "fried" rooster, which symbolized a large degree of trouble, a real misfortune in the household, went.

Teacher:
But the symbol of the Portuguese city of Barcelos is a real roasted rooster. Here he is considered a fair bird, as he saved the life of a man.

There is such a legend:
Once, pilgrims were passing through this city and stopped to spend the night at an inn. And the mistress of this yard liked the youngest of them. But the pilgrim did not like the hostess. For this she decided to take revenge on the young man: she hid her silverware, and accused him of theft. young man. The young man was sentenced to death, but he asked for the last word. And when the pilgrim before the execution was brought to a feast in the house of the judge, he said, looking at a dish with a roasted rooster: "I am so innocent that when they hang me, this rooster will crow!"

All the guests, together with the host, laughed at the poor unfortunate man. But a miracle happened - at the hour of execution, this rooster suddenly came to life, spread its wings and crowed. So the rooster saved this innocent young man.
Since then, the black cockerel has been the symbol of the city of Barcelos.

Since time immemorial, the Gallic rooster has been the symbol of France. The ancient Romans called the Gauls the Celts who inhabited Gaul - the territory of modern France, Belgium and Northern Italy. The Latin word "gallus" means not only "gall", but also "rooster". The Romans gave this name to the Celts because they were all red-haired and their fiery red tufts resembled cockscombs. In 1792, the image of a rooster appeared on a new 20-franc coin, and the French, who considered the Gauls their ancestors, interpreted it as a "Gallic rooster" and began to consider it their national emblem.

The expression "Gallic rooster" entered the literary speech as an allegory of France. French President de Gaulle introduced him to military medals as a symbol of the fighting spirit of France. The rooster is the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of France.
The rooster periodically appeared on the coins of France: in 1871-1914 on gold coins in denominations of 10, 20, 50 and 100 francs; in 1950-1958 on coins of 10 and 20 francs.

1leader:
No wonder they say about the bully "pugnacious, like a rooster." The fighting qualities of roosters were highly valued in ancient Greece .. In Ancient Rome Rhodes and Tonagrian roosters were taught fighting techniques. Cockfights on the islands of Java, Tahiti, Sumatra and Celebes were described by European travelers in the 16th century. English schoolchildren in the XII century. during the holidays they entertained themselves with cock contests, and the Indian rajas did not disdain these contests.

Cockfights were a common pastime not only for the nobility, but also for other estates - burghers, merchants, officials, and also foreigners. This entertainment was born in Russia in the XVIII century. With light hand A.G. Orlov, who first ordered fighting cocks from England. Another rich man, N.V. Vsevolzhsky, also ordered roosters with a pedigree from England, only gray ones, while Orlov acquired red ones. Each laid egg was protected, as it turned out to be a thoroughbred chicken. The pedigree of each rooster had its own record. In the 19th century the tradition of cockfighting was not only not lost, but also actively developed in private houses and taverns.
Fights between roosters were considered a popular spectacle in past centuries in India, China, Persia and other countries of the East.
Cockfight grounds were made round shape with a flooring of mats with a diameter of about 6 m. The site was surrounded by a fence, which facilitates the presence of roosters directly during the fight within the field. The competition (match) usually consisted of a predetermined number of fights between participating birds, the outcome of the fight was determined based on the maximum number of wins.
Teacher:
Roosters sing not just for beauty. With their singing, they predict the weather with great enthusiasm and accuracy.

There are signs:
-Roosters begin to sing immediately after sunset - the weather will change.
-If the kochet sings after 10 pm, the night will be quiet and good.
-When the rooster crows before 9 pm, it is a sign that the weather will change and it will rain soon.
- In winter, singing at this time indicates the onset of an imminent thaw.
But the nighttime crowing of a rooster is interpreted in different ways in different places.
In Georgia, they believe that it serves as a harbinger of a change in the weather for the worse.
In Germany, it is believed that if one of the roosters decides to sing while standing on a dunghill, the weather may remain the same, but if he wants to do it in a chicken coop, then the same weather will stand for exactly another week.
In Poland, when the roosters crow, the weather is simply unreliable.
Roosters love to scratch near trees. From the side in which they turn the chest, you can expect wind. Cockfight portends good weather while standing on one leg in winter is frost.
Crowing is a kind of challenge to other roosters, to which they give a response call. True, in the case when the rivals are cocks of the same rank. If, say, in the same yard a cock that occupies a subordinate position crows, then the dominant one simply attacks him, without honoring him with an answer.
The cry of a rooster can be heard at a distance of two kilometers. The same cock crows always the same song, the differences are very small. During the singing, the rooster, like the singing capercaillie, does not hear anything. Young cockerels try to sing from the age of three weeks.

Do you know that human onomatopoeia of cock singing sounds in different countries differently.
In Germany, Japan - "ko-ke-kok-ko".
In Japan, "ko-ke-kok-ko"
In Sweden - "ku-ke-li-ku".
In Italy - "chi-ki-ri-chi".
In France - "ko-ko-ri-ko.
In Bulgaria - "ku-ku-ri-gu".
And in England - "cockey-doodle-doo"

Move.

I. Organizational moment. (prepare in advance sketches of a rooster and art materials on the desks)
II. The topic of the lesson. Teacher- Today we will consolidate our skills and abilities when creating a panel - the symbol of the year - "Rooster" using various means and techniques; let's replenish our knowledge with one more artistic term.- In the last lesson, you were divided into groups and each chose its own technique of performance. You have sketched the symbol in groups.
III. Formation of new knowledge. Teacher- I chose the image of the Rooster for a reason. Many in your class were born in the year of the Rooster. Raise your hands, who is this? (guys get up)- But not only for this reason. The New Year's holiday has already passed, and we again remember the symbol of the year. This is all because lunar calendar In Japan and China, the New Year begins on February 4th. In the East, they believe that this bird above all puts purity and the revival of life and change for the better.- This bird was brought from India. But still, we consider the rooster a Russian bird. No wonder he is the hero of many proverbs, sayings and fairy tales.- Tell me, what fairy tales do you know where the cockerel is mentioned?

(A.S. Pushkin "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel", Russian folk tales "The Cockerel - the Golden Scallop and the Miracle Melenka", "The Fox, the Hare and the Rooster", "About the Dog, the Cat, the Rooster", etc.)

Teacher- If you know fairy tales well, you will quickly recognize them by fragments.(three students read passages of fairy tales - everyone else guesses)

"Learn the tale"

1. Once upon a time there was a cat, a thrush and a cockerel-golden comb. They lived in the forest, in a hut. A cat and a thrush go to the forest to chop wood, and the cockerel is left alone (Russian folk tale"Cockerel - golden scallop")
2. Cockerel with high knitting needles Began to guard its borders A little danger where visible Faithful watchman as from a dream Moves, shakes And shouts: "Kiri-ku-ku Reign lying on your side." (A.S. Pushkin "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel")
3. A bunny sits under a bush and cries. A cockerel-golden comb walks past and carries a scythe on his shoulder. He saw a bunny and asked: “What are you crying, bunny?” ... (Russian folk tale "The Fox, the Hare and the Rooster")

IV . Updating of basic knowledge .
Teacher- When we drew a sketch of a rooster, I gave you the task to find sayings or poems about a rooster.

(children read the sayings and proverbs prepared by them)

(You can offer the guys, if they did not find anything, the following material:
“A good housewife will cook an ear out of a rooster” Patter:
The rooster sings about colorful birds, About fluffy feathers, about fluff.)

Teacher- Well done, many have prepared, and now listen to what I have prepared for you:1. "Do not count your chickens before they are hatched" (they talk about the person who prematurely expresses the joy of success, although the final result is still far away)
2. "The cuckoo praises the rooster for praising the cuckoo" (they say ironically when one praises the other because he praised him. I.A. Krylov’s fable “The Cuckoo and the Rooster”)

VI . Working with dictionaries .
Teacher - As you already know, many Russian writers and poets told us about the cockerel in their books: this is A.S. Pushkin and S.Ya. Marshak. As well as artists: Ilya Repin, Valentin Serov depicted animals, birds, including the cockerel. They admired his flexibility, coloring, depicted in pencil, charcoal, ink. The most famous artist in this area is Vasily Vatagin, who devoted his whole life to studying the habits of animals and birds. These are the artists depicting animals, called - ANIMALISTS. - Open dictionaries and write down a new term: (show on slide) Animal painter - (lat. - animal - animal) - an artist who focuses on the image of animals.
Let's get back to our lesson. So, you have previously chosen the technique for performing your panel. Let's take a look at who chose which one.(guys call: GOUASH, GRATTAGE, COLLAGE, PASTEL, CHARCOAL)
- What do you know about in this technique? (written in the children's dictionaries)(student answers in groups:COAL - This is an old material for drawing. Since ancient times, people have used coal to draw the image of animals on the walls of the cave. Today, coal is obtained from grape branches burned in special stoves. Used in graphics, they can draw a still life, landscape, portrait, making sketches, sketches. Charcoal is easy to use. But it is easily smeared and therefore the drawing must be fixed with a special fixative or hairspray.
PASTEL - has many shades. These are soft colored sticks made of chalk, giving a wonderfully velvety tone, creating a strong painterly effect. Easily smeared with a piece of paper. Oil pastel has a bright and pure color, it is good to draw landscapes, portraits, sketches.
GOUACHE - opaque paint that is diluted with water. Gouache paints are bright and allow corrections during work, they can cover dark tones with light ones. It is used for sketches, portraits, landscape and pictorial drawings.
COLLAGE - translates as - gluing, sticker. Technique for performing paintings by gluing onto a base various materials: fabrics, ropes, leather, wood, metal, etc.
GRATTAGE - This technique is performed using wax and ink or gouache. There is a classic scratching, when melted wax is poured onto cardboard and, after drying, is shaded with gouache. The drawing is applied with a sharp object: a toothpick or a needle.)
Teacher- Wonderful, everyone remembered different techniques performance, we received a lot of information, and now, before independent work, let's have a rest and have a physical education.
VII. Fizkultminutka.
